LAREDO, Texas – On June 8, 2018, Hebbronville Border Patrol Agents responded to a request for assistance from the Jim Hog County Sheriff’s Office regarding a vehicle stop on a 2005 Ford Expedition. Agents arrived on scene and found five illegal aliens attempting to hide in the rear cargo area of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, a United States Citizen, was placed under arrest. The five illegal aliens were found in good health and identified as being from the country of Mexico. The Jim Hogg County Sheriff’s Office is the lead investigative agency in this case.
This enforcement action demonstrates the United States Border Patrol’s commitment to work with the Jim Hogg County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement partners to disrupt illicit activity, deny criminal organizations the ability to operate, and protect human life,” said Laredo Sector Assistant Chief Patrol Agent Jose Martinez.
